Resonator neck thickness brings to mind what effect the mass of the neck has on a guitar . I asked Michael Hauver who was building me a lead belly Stella type guitar about the effect on tone and he kinda nixed that theory reflecting on bracing and tone wood . I neglected to figure out at the time maybe the difference would be in sustain as opposed to tone if that makes any sense . So i wonder if MM considered any of that concerning neck profile or are you only going to consider playability as far as neck mass .. hmm could be a can of worms 🐛 I’ve opened up with myriads of variables that you can’t really nail down .

Thanks HW, I personally think the feel is a really big factor. I think a resonators sound is mainly the cone and a good set up. Regards Chris ‘I love slide me’
