Made in Japan in the 1960's we believe by either Guyatone or Supro, unsure which. The Lap steel is all original aside from one tuner (damaged original in case) including the original gold foil pickups, bridge cover and very rarely on for these the original case and stand, and the original slide bar. Some damage to the case, mainly to the internal lining, but it is sturdy enough Currently strung with an old set of flat wound strings, giving it a nice tubby sound though fresh strings would help it brighten up a little. There's a lot of shine, nickel plated pickguard, bridge cover and mirrored fingerboard, looks like something straight out of a Nashville honky tonk. Any questions feel free to ask £225 ono, open to trades, especially for old broken/project american guitars

Supro/Valco had nothing to do with this Guyatone steel guitar. It looks like the water damage to the case also affected the fretboard.
I wish you good luck with the sale. It should be a nice sounding instrument.

Thanks
There’s no damage to the fretboard, but it’s very hard to get a good clean photo of it

Looks like a chrome-plated fret board?

Looks like a chrome-plated fret board? Something like that, there's a lot of shine!
