JUst to share video experiment on a rather stormy day here on the east coast USA!
Mainly to explore if this type of short-cut video would be interesting as a format for instrumentals.
I thought the mic was good for resonator but not as good in my hands for my acoustics so I returned it.
Stay safe all, Harriet

Just lovely, Harriet. Those pictures are perfect for the music; so evocative. And beautifully played. Just one thing - did the car turning right get sideswiped?

Thanks John - I'm glad you like it Just as an FYI, I started by practicng along to a rain track - kind of my introduction to playing with a jam track - but when the idea came to add the quick-cut videos I made 3 separate tracks with several tries each on it of the treble, 12th fret, bass and I kept little pauses with beats between each verse so I could pick the ones I liked. The only one with adjustments to the sound was the bass - I used a Garageband amp that I thought gave it some presence. I ran the rain track on my ipod with earphones while recording each section The rain track being about 15 minutes long, adding the finished music portion wasn't much trouble at all. Stay well, H

The clip cuts off at 1.47, just as the car indicating to turn right pulls out in front of another one. Good catch! It didn't stand out to me - maybe because I don't drive. The original clip ends at that point - but since the original was much slower and the other car had stopped - it looks less likely that happened. I speeded the clip up 200% in the video editing software when I used it - Just to add and tie into the music, most of the clips were adjusted for color or speed to go along with and support the mood and tempo of what was playing. Stay safe all, H
