Here's a song I don't play too often, too many strings to tune!

Hi Alex,
Great singing, great guitar playing, great guitar !
One thing I don't understand about truss rods is why do some makers install them with the adjusting end in the headstock/neck region, and some (like Martin guitars) at the soundhole end ? If you put them in the other way round, you wouldn't need a big hole for truss rod access, and spoil the look of the headstock, with either a hole, or an access cover. Don't read that as criticism. I've just always been curious to know.
All the best.

Thanks I tend to do it headstock end just because I struggled to make them fit the soundhole end, you can get them with longer hex ends for sound hole adjustment, but they don't quite fit these guitars, a matching wood cover improves looks, but since this guitar was just for me, I never bothered, I'm exploring modifying those truss rods though for soundhole adjustment

Alex, you kill it every time! That's lovely singing and playing, and the guitar sounds fantastic.

Re Truss Rod,the way I understand it Gibson had a patent adjustable truss rod,Martin had non adjustable rod up the neck for years after the patent ran out (I had a 70's D18 with no truss Rod.If they had gone through the nec it wouldent look like a Martin headstock
