Loved this band, I started seeing them on what must have been their first UK tour supporting Graham Parker & The Rumour back in 1977, I still play the albums especially the first two, the other week I got hold of Johnny's unplugged album, very patchy but still worth a listen. A really good back catalogue and a band that really kicked arse, you just cant keep your feet still when they hit the CD player

We were given the keys for a week to a shore house a few miles from Johnnys home base of Asbury Park. Got here Saturday. I have seen the band many times. Forgot about the drive in but was with family anyway. I am not a big fan of the jersey shore band scene. One of my best pals played drums for the band over 10 years. The Jukes just couldn’t break thru real big but they (all 100 of them) are all hard working and good band.
