Saw this on Pinterest with the MM cover plate. Now this is something I really want to do because I have a wonderful warmoth strat neck which would be ideal on a body like this

Just for the record, so there never any confusion; That instrument has nothing to do with me at all.

Not one I made out of MM bits.(though I do have at least one cover plate spare) And I think it would look better with a short tailpiece. Pete

Have you made anything similar than Pete? Yes, I did a similar conversion on a Danelector. And also a Gibson copy body, this was fitted with a Strat style neck, which, being a longer scale put the bridge in the right place for the cover plate ( this was called the ‘Res Paul’). My present res-electric has a body based on the 60s National Glenwood and an old Les Paul copy neck. I did start work on a cheap Tele copy but the body was ply, and so badly made I put it on the fire! Pete

Awesome. I must get myself a suitable body, don't know if the strat dimensions would work to keep the scale correct.

Hi there !
Is Andy Solloway and Resodan guitars still on the go ? I bought some Fake 58 “aged” Kluson tuners off hm years ago and half fancy a Resodan.
His Sollophonic website doesn’t look like it’s been updated since 2011 and his Fake 58 website also not really happening
