Dear Red. He was the sweetest dearest man.
I have seen most of that in various edits and other docs.

Michael ..any particular album of his you can recommend please? Jon Jono, this is one of the albums that I used to learn to play Blues. "Louisiana Red Sings The Blues" - originally released in 1972. www.amazon.co.uk/Louisiana-Red-Sings-Blues/dp/B000PHW1ZKAnother wonderful album, which Red is a guest on and plays beautifully, is Johnny Shines "Too Wet To Plow". Apart from "Sings The Blues" the best Red album I know of is the one sitting her on my shelf. It is folder containing recordings of a whole tour we did together as an acoustic duo in 2009. Someday I will edit and release it. I also have a selection of Red's early recordings, many of which have never been heard beyond a few fanatical collectors. Red's first recording session was in a radio studio in Chicago. He used Muddy Waters' Telecaster and recorded four Muddy-style songs. I don't think it was ever broadcasted, it was just a favour that Muddy and the radio studio guys did for the young musician that Muddy was helping. Here's a couple of sweet pics I just turned up. 22nd April 2009 at BBC Maida Vale Studios, recording with Paul Jones. Shine On Michael

From 48min 53sec LR's living on dangerous ground as I found out this morning when Mrs.PD heard me singing this line.
...and Ms. Dora shows she is one wonderful lady with her comments just after that line.

Too Wet to Plow was album of the day yesterday on Fat Possum’s Facebook page There was talk of Fat Possum and Catfish doing a co-release on it, but Catfish ran into trouble and backed out. FP were also talking about releasing my Second Mind album, but Catfish's demise screwed that one up. Shine On Michael
