Treated myself this parlour last week Chinese in origin but has had some UK setting up. It is based on a Gibson L-1 .. it has a wider 48 mm ( bone) nut and a bone saddle. Top is solid mahogany. Bracing is the more modern "X" bracing rather then traditional ladder bracing . it has been set up with slightly higher action so i can play slide and fingerstyle. at the moment it is tuned standard so i can hone my fingerpicking. Looks awesome. Is it an Icarus guitar? Would love to hear your thoughts on the sound and construction.

Nice! Sounds like the type of parlor I’d be in to. Want to get in to the world of smaller guitars. I’ll certainly check out the Icarus range.
Hope you get lots of time to get to know your new guitar!

That looks really sweet Jono, congrats. Has a similar look to my 30's Gibson L-00, albeit a lot newer looking

Also worth checking out the Framus FP-14M, they are supposed to be great little parlour guitars.
