Hello Bluesy,
You are very welcome to our forum.
Shenandoah is indeed a beautiful melody and a beautiful song. I know a few versions of it, but I would imagine there are dozens, maybe hundreds of recordings of such a classic song. Tennessee Ernie Ford's is the one that I think of before all others, oh and Bing Crosby's. Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison and the Chieftans, and of course Pete Seeger. those are a few that spring to mind.
Your arrangement is very good and so is the way you express the emotion of the song. I like the sound you are getting. I haven't looked to see what equipment you are using and it doesn't matter to me. What I am listening to is the music, not the equipment. We all have our own way of playing and every slide player has their own touch and vibrato. It feels and sounds to me that you are a little tight and not relaxed enough to get the full expression of your arrangement across. You start out more relaxed at the beginning, but as you go more into the tune you get tighter and more rigid. If you had not asked for an opinion I would not have given it, but as you asked for some sensible critique of your playing, that is what I have to say. Relax your left arm and hand more and maybe play the piece every day for a month before recording it.
Thank you for sharing your playing with us.

Shine On Michael Thank you so much for your advice 😊 Yes, I'm an anxious person and one of the problem when I play is this. I don't want transmit anxiety, I'm soo relaxed when I play but sometimes for the fear or anxiety of mistake I transmit "rigidity". Now I will work a lot on this. Thank you so much 😊
