Just copped a copy of Rhythm Oil on MusicMagpie. Don’t know how kosher it is. We’ll see what turns up Cheers Sunday Times summer 1993 - Terry Clarke, Jesse Taylor, Michael Messer - Photo by Alan Messer© Ken, There were two releases of Rhythm Oil and the first one is the "real" one with the proper artwork. Although both are from identical masters, so the music is the same. The first release was one Minidoka Records (MICD0006) in 1993 and the second, the so called rerelease, was on Koch UK in I think 1997. I don't have the catalogue number of that one to hand. Interesting that you posted this today as Jesse Taylor died on March 7th 2006. Shine On Michael

How young and carefree you look Michael! I've been looking for Rythmn Oil for awhile along with many others on the forum. Howsabout an authorised bootleg issue? Would have the added benefit of making us feel edgey and street! Lol!
Best wishes to you all, John

It is the Koch UK version, 332872, 1998 Pristine Cheers Ken, I am pleased that you have a copy of Rhythm Oil. Koch was a worldwide music company that disappeared in the mid noughties sometime. I can only assume that I wasn't the only person they never paid or accounted to. What goes around comes around. Shine On Michael

..I'm a naughty boy and a hypocrite - I've just ordered one! Michael, I'll buy you beer or two next time we meet. PD, you are not a naughty boy at all (and you are not the Messiah!). It is not the customer's problem that the record company did not pay their artists. I tried to find it on eBay and couldn't. Could you post a link to where I can buy a copy please? Yes, my name is Michael "Hartley" Messer ....For those not in the UK, or are too young to remember this TV ad from 1983.... Shine On Michael

Can't find the link now, either - only the "purchased" one on my own eBay account.
...must have sold out?
