I am pleased that you are enjoying your new guitar.
The aroma that you describe so beautifully is actually sandalwood oil and it is on the neck stick of your guitar. It will fade quite quickly. Apparently the neck factory had to use it for something to do with exports and health & safety in the current world crisis. I am not sure what it could do or why, and maybe the translation went astray when it was explained to me! I have a 12 fret MM Blues here. The aroma is very mild and after a week or so it has virtually gone. It reminded me of my teenage years when we used patchouli oil to mask the aroma of jazz cigarettes, and to make people think that we were doing that.
