Ahh....yes, the new colour. I have been working on that for a while. It appears that 12th Fret have their order before mine arrives in the UK.

A wise decision >another one!

Played the guitar a couple of hours this eve & I'm impressed with the great Tone right out of the box. Got .016 MM's installed. It sounds/feels like it's been played-in already. Very fine appearance & the neck is just the way I like them - beefy. Very well made too. I like the heel & the neck binding treatment. Aged tuning machines complete the look. Nice job!! No serial#?

Hi Resotonic,
I am pleased to hear that you are happy with your new MM Blues. That is all good news!
Serial number - Hmmmm... well I stamp my own numbers on the headstocks, always have. So they are shipped to me with the serial number on a tag on the case, I can only assume that 12th Fret don't know this. I could mail an owners manual to you with a unique serial number that you could put on the headstock, either with a permanent marker, or with proper number and letter stamps. I don't stamp MMB28s because they have Tricone headstocks which are hard to stamp, so I write the serial number with a permanent marker.

Michael, I do have the tag from the case. I'll keep it safe and record it in my guitar log book (for insurance purposes). I have an owners manual from my previous Blues & I will record the # there as well. Thanks for the info! Darreld

Don't know why, but this guitar has a wonderful aroma wafting from the 'F' holes whenever I play it...and the more I play it, the bigger & better the aroma! It's not a ladies or gents perfume, more like something from a herb/spices/scent shop in Kathmandu. And since we just had another foot of snow over the past 4 days, it looks like I won't be smelling Spring anytime too soon; I'll be playing guitar even more!
