I'm not familiar with the brand, but any wireless solution will exhibit latency to sone degree or another. I have a cheap AKG example and the latency bothered me initially, but now I don't notice it at all. Presumably the more you spend, the lower the latency? I have not experienced interference with mine, but I guess it's inevitable at some point. The positive sides are some protection against electrocution, untethered freedom, and some amelioration of the high frequencies loss from guitar leads which kind of negates debate about guitar lead quality and associated cost, or the benefits of buffer amps against true bypass in stomp boxes. My AKG has a stupid little fixed aerial just waiting to snap off in the heat of the moment. When did you last see a mobile telephone with an antenna?

Thanks for that. Thinking about getting one for a uke, kinda gets drowned a bit with 2 guitars. Heck, even improvs on a National can get lost with 2 other guitars BEING BANGED ON as well. Dynamics people! But, it happens, all for giggles anyway, and cords suck when you have to get up and get a beer or take a leak..

Thanks for that as well. This is really more convenience over tone, cash outlay over quality. Horrible words, I know, but the difference between 4K UHD and 720P on the 37” TV that is us is really not too noticeable to justify the cost differences. As long as it turns on, and stays on for a few hours, that’d be nice.
One of the guys brought one he paid 35USD for, can not remember the name, but it looks like they are all pretty much just rebranded anyway. It worked good, strike a note, latency unnoticeable, sound acceptable. I was wondering about other’s experience with these devices, and recommendations I suppose.
Yeah, thousands in guitars, ukes, you’d think a few hundred for a really good one would be a no brainer, yet..

<...Note: No matter how good your shielding is, all guitar cables are unbalanced, meaning they use only one conductor and do not cancel out interference at the other end of the cable...>
Hmmm ...
Only one conductor? Try disconnecting the shield at one end of the lead. Without a circuit return there can be no current flow. I would expect better from Shure.

I think that forum member, Bonzo, has a wireless system that he uses at home.
Perhaps if Bonzo (John) sees this thread he could tell us about what he is using.

Hi Michael et al, yes I have been using the Ammoon wireless system and am very pleased. I use the receiver unit straight into the amp or into the first pedal on the stomp board I have made, that way I can just change the transmitter unit on whatever guitars I'm using and just have a cable into the amp. Even my Highlander works through it! It's worked on everything I've tried it with, no problems at all. As you can see, not a lot of money, got one for the grandson for Christmas. Best wishes to you all, John

A-HAH! Good to know. Those Line 6 and Shure devices are most likely very, very good. Just purchased the Getaria at 39US. I’ll let you know if they work well. Got my buddy a set, too. He’ll be surprised to owe me 40 bucks. The Ammoon were 60US, they do look a bit more..gooder?

I use the Xvive wireless for gigs. I would only use a lead now if they went flat or I lost them. No latency, crystal clear, good range. I went walkabout at a festival with them and got about 50m from the stage. I also have a guitar with a poor earth - wireless eliminates the buzz! TT

Is that Line 6 wireless thing a Signature model ?? Hi Richard I dont believe it is .. according to Dave's website .. he kept breaking guitar cables so tested a load of wireless systems ..doesn't suggest its anything bespoke. Jon
