Lee, just bring yourself and a guitar or two. You will have a great time...in fact...a BRILLIANT time! If you are thinking of coming, book a room at the Feathers ASAP because it gets sold out and while there are other places to stay, the Feathers is the closest to the Arts Centre. If you do call them to book, say that you are part of the Blues Weekend and they will look after you.

I have been trying to get to Pockfest for several years (I did manage the first few) but am determined to get to the next one. So ,have been offered a lift by Pickers Ditch as he passes my door on the way, and have booked a bed at the Feathers. Roll on November. Pete

‘Muddy’ is now almost 7 feet tall and is too big to travel! It will be Muddy’s first winter outdoors, it maybe I will bring a thin walking stick if we get very heavy frosts here. Pete

Some newer forum members might be a bit puzzled by reference to ‘Muddy’. Ken and I went to Mississippi a few years ago. We picked up some pecan nuts from an ancient tree at the site of Muddy Waters old cabin. I planted mine and it has grown and grown. Pete For pictures see an old thread ‘ putting Muddy in the shade’

I still have my nut. Haven’t got a garden so never planted it. If I can find it I’ll bring Muddy Jr to Pocklington and place it on a cushion in the middle of the room to ad to the vibe :-)
