GUITAR NOW SOLD!!! Superb 1970s Yamaha FG-180-1 Black Label acoustic dreadnought folk guitar in excellent condition, complete with original hard case, £275. This guitar has been well cared for all its life. Not only does the amazing sound make this instrument special, but the beautiful tri-panel back with special maple insert, makes this guitar very unique and a highly collectible instrument. Completely original, apart from an upgrade to the saddle and nut, which have recently been replaced with Tusq. This brings out the guitar's full voice, with amazing overtones and plenty of impressive volume. The Yamaha is in almost perfect condition, with just a few minor dings to the top, commensurate with the guitar's age. It has recently been set up by the same luthier/technician who fitted the tusq saddle and nut and it has a lovely low action for easy playing, being fitted with new Earthwood bronze 12-54 strings. Mahogany back and sides with maple insert and rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with 14-fret neck join. The Yamaha tuners are of sturdy, industrial-like construction and work perfectly. These guitars were made between 1974-77 in Taiwan. Very collectable and a highly impressive instrument all round. Contact: alcandy@outlook.com
