I'm looking for old vintage guitars in need of repair, wanting instruments to practice neck resets and such things on, old Harmonys, stellas etc are great, I'd be interested in some higher quality vintage guitars needing work too, Gibsons especially
Cheers

Hello Alex I have this. It's from the transitional period when Harmony bought Oscar Schmidt. The body is basically an Oscar Schmidt birch Stella and the neck is a Harmony. Needs a fair bit doing. Neck reset and repairs to the top bracing.

I am also always interested in damaged guitars, but cheap ones that might be chucked out. Ekos (the Studio L type is favoured) These are for experimental reso conversation, so a smashed top/badly pulled off bridge are great. PT

I've heard of heavy pick action but that's ridiculous! Lol!
Best wishes to you all, John

Do you get beavers in Nashville? Or it could be Texan woodworms, everything is bigger from down there. Pete

"don't ask won't tell"
I think Stevie got it right. Had a girl do that to a briefcase once with a big kitchen knife.

Are you looking for guitars to keep, or practice on and return to the original owners?
I have a 1930s Rex Aragon archtop that has been in the loft for years that needs some attention. I was going to get somebody local to work on it but I’d be happy for you to see what you can do. I’m not sentimentally attached to the guitar but I would like it back.
