Hi, the Truss rod allen nut on my mm blues. Does anyone know if it's removable or if I'd need to remove the fretboard to fix it?
Many thanks, Joe

I think the 4mm allan headed nut is ‘captive’, this is a 2 way truss rod , you can’t remove the nut without removing the finger board. If someone has messed up the nut there are ways of adjusting it. Pete More information please

Hi Pete, thanks for the info.
As for more information from me, the action is very high and the intonation is significantly out when playing above the 5th fret. The nut neck needs to flatten so the nut needs quite a few turns. Any advice appreciated. Let me know if you need any any more details!

Hello Joeslides,
Welcome to our forum.
I have only just spotted this thread.
Did you get the MMB from me?

Thanks TT!
Hi Michael, thanks for picking up on this! I bought the guitar from Wunjo on Denmark Street in London.
Best regards,

Hi Joe
I only ever supplied some stock to Wunjo's once or twice and it was eight or nine years ago when Busker Guitars were my distributors. If it was later than that I assume it was a used one?
Can you explain what you are trying to do and what the problem is. As well as me, Pete and Deuce are both offering to help, but we need more information.

As Michael says, more information is called for, it is not impossible to damage the truss rod nut if you use the wrong size allan key or too much force. If you have no done this before wait till someone more experienced gives you advice. You may already know how straight a neck should be, and how to adjust the truss rod, I can’t tell without more information. You should get some here ,a photo of the neck join from the side, or the whole side of the neck might tell us something. Pete
