Hey everybody! I have an urgent question: for years I've been trying to find and buy exactly this model: a late 30s /early 40s Style O, 14 fret with the parallelogram inlays. So I'm asking you guys: has anybody one of these and considers selling it? Or do you know somebody who's willing to sell one? Also if they are project guitars... Please let me know, would mean the world to me !! Cheers, Andi

HERE'S one if you've got the cash to splash and don't mind buying unseen. Probably pay around £3,500 by the time you pay duty and shipping, assuming you're UK based. Original case though which tells you something.

These are variation 8 Style 0s and tend to be the least desirable of all Style 0s because of the heavy neck/headstock which makes it unbalanced.

Definitely want to have the engraved paddle headstock and the parallelogram inlays, but thanks for the tip - nice one too!

I know about the fact that they are not the most desireable, but I fell in love with this model. There was a guy selling an attic find condition of this model, but unfortunately it turned out be like sort of a rip-off, cause he wanted to have 3.800 Dollar for a guitar that would need a whole lotta love . Do have any recommandations where to look or who to ask? Any tip appreciated Cheers, Andi

Hi Andi
I don't know anyone selling one of those. You just have to keep an eye on all the dealers and eBay. Perhaps put a WANT thread up in Tin Can Alley on here
If I hear of one I will let you know

Hey. I was in Chicago at the Amigo Vintage Guitar event last May and Dave Crocker had one. I later discovered after chatting with him that he has a huge stock of Nationals so would be a good place to start. He co-owns the Amigo company which includes the worlds biggest vintage guitar show in Texas as well as being one of the top dealers for years. A good place to start even if just enquiring? His email is here... www.amigoguitarshows.com/contacts/Here’s a link to the pic I took of the guitar. You’ll need to click the link and then use the side arrow to locate the second pic in the series. It’s the guitar on the right. Big neck, didn’t balance well, sounded good though! Only one I’ve ever seen and I’m always looking! http://instagram.com/p/BjAEdk9nRUH
