Hi Jono, XRDS FM RADIO, broadcasting out of clarksdale miss. I've been meaning to post about it for awhile. Get it fine with Amazon Alexa, see what you think!
Best wishes to you all, John

Not that I dont listen, I just don't like the sound quality of digital broadcast and refuse to buy it...
WWOZ in NOLA has a streaming service that broadcasts shows from the jazz feastival here. That and pedalsteelraidio.com are the only interwebs music I listen to on a semi regular basis. OZ will have some live Jazzfest streaming the next couple weekends. Wwoz.org

Despite what they'll have you believe about the wondrous digital tsunami, there's no advantage in quality over a fully quieting FM signal, except of course once it has been digitised, it can be encrypted and hence charged for.

occasional Blues but mostly cool (that's what us hip cats call it) jazz, on Swissjazzradio. No advertising, just a station 'ID' every half hour. PT

Some upgrades are obviously needed and good... like the trend of going back to mono. Im listening to 180+ hours of music from a memory card in old phone on a mono blue tooth speaker that I carry around on a string. Soon, Im going to buy another 64gb card and put another week of music in my pocket. Im listening to music in such a way that Ive essentially returned to 1960 quality but have the library in my pocket. Im just grateful that vinyl deteriorates slower than I. the fact that pictures can be made without the cost of film has led to a lot of incurious selfies. I read one more story about someone dying while trying to make a picture of themselves and Im going 100% back to transistors and valves... I apologize for being off topic, this upgrade issue has had me looking at spending money I dont have...I broke a toe friday night and admittedly, am in a bad mood and a bit intoxicated. listening to the Boston Library this am. All best Y'all jeff

I thought I'd tune into XRDS for a change today. It appears to be broadcasting, but there's no sound coming through my speakers, either on the internet-radio.com site or from the station's own website. Any other station I click on at internet-radio.com works fine. I'm using Firefox. It's not much of a problem, but I hate it when things don't work Any ideas please?
