Hi Ben,
How chunky is the neck?
What gauge strings are fitted?
Do you need the Aura pedal to make the pickup work properly?

Hi Chris,
Neck is not too chunky. it is rounded and not unlike a modern acoustic profile i'd say.
It seems to like 13-56, probably would go heavier or lighter without an issue but these are the ones I've settled on.
You really need the JD aura to get the most out of the pickup yes...the live sound with that pedal is excellent...without it...not so great.
