Hello folks. Probably best to get this on a new thread. This is going ahead (see poster for details), and tickets are on sale via these methods: paypal - goatsoap@btinternet.com bank transfer - (email me at tonetanner@btinternet.com) cheque - (email me for my address).I'll advertise it here before the general public for a few days to give members best chances of getting tickets, but there's a good chance they will go quickly once out there, so don't hang around! If it doesn't go ahead for any reason, full refunds will be made. Cheers, TT

Gonna make a weekend of it. Any chance of a gig happening? Extra of course. I'm sure I'm not the only one up for it. Something along the lines of Hayling Island perhaps? Not sticking me oar in, just a thought.
Best wishes to you all, John

I like the idea of a gig. We are doing the workshop as a duo, so we could do a duo gig... or ask Gurdain if he is around. It's something worth considering

Nice job with organising Deuce Is anyone else going up from the South or South East whoโd be up for some kind of car share? I could meet up and drive/contribute petrol from Sussex or Hampshire areas if anyoneโs interested. Cheers Lew

Maybe I can find a venue nearby? Or just pay for an extra hour or so (ยฃ10 for an extra hour in the hall). TT

Excellent! Good to see such a positive response from you both Deuce and Michael.
If I'm not mistaken Deuce you gig in the area quite a bit don't you? Any pubs close by be interested in an afternoon music session? After the workshop ends.
Pushing my luck here......... what are the chances of making this a whole weekend do? Local gig Saturday, Sunday workshop as planned. Of course this depends on your schedules, but a possibility?!
Fingers crossed, best wishes to you all, John

We have a performance on the 18th, so we are not able to do anything until after the workshop in the evening.
I think it is a great idea, but I need to think about how we promote a pub, or small gig. Or... can we make something more out of it?

I'm pretty sure there are more than a few out here who are interested!

John, I will have a think and also hear what Deuce has to say. The only music venue I have played at in Worcester is the Huntingdon Hall, but it is too soon to arrange and it's a Sunday. I would not want the promoter of the HH to see that I am playing in a pub in town. This is often a problem, but where there's a will..... Shine On Michael
