Just a quick post to say yet again a big thumbs up to Michael for his stellar service. Received my MM BLUES 28 B-stock earlier this week and so far very pleased with it I did intend to use it in standard tuning but it does sound great in open D! Although I can see why Michael has marked it down as B Stock I have to say I reckon every other shop/seller would have sold it as brand new.
Thank you again Michael!

Hi Rich,
Thank you for your kind and positive words, they are very much appreciated.
I am pleased you are happy with your MMB28. That makes me happy and able to sleep at night.
Quality control, A-stock, B-stock etc... It is an area in many products that gets abused. In the retail guitar industry many of the companies importing instruments from the Far East have hardly any, or no quality control in place at all. When I first started the MM Guitars business I contacted the CEO of one of the largest brands of budget-priced resonator and acoustic instruments to have a chat about how his company functioned, and more importantly, how they dealt with quality control. I was shocked to hear that all instruments, unless they are broken, go out to the retailers. Returns are not particularly welcomed, so the retailers have to sell everything. That is how we end up seeing resonator and acoustic guitars in shops that are barely playable. I was disgusted with the attitude of this company. I followed that up with a call to the largest UK distributor of all things acoustic, they also handle many of the largest brands on the high street (or should that now be 'on our screens'). I spoke to the guy that does the checking and setups of all guitars that are imported by this company. He told me that he is allocated the absolute maximum of ten minutes per instrument to check and set them up. This, in my book, is an insult to the customer that is paying a few hundred Pounds/Euros for this instrument. Ten minutes - WTF!!!! I don't expect Mr BigBrand to check and play every guitar that his company handles, but I do think that he should have a proper situation in place and most of all that he should respect his customers. When I was a teenager I was told by my boss at the time that it is easy to get a customer and take their money, but to keep them as a regular customer takes hard work and dedication. He was so right.
Shine On Michael
