In my opinion glueing is not essential, but running a bead of glue around the rim of the cone where the biscuit touches it is fine and takes nothing away from the sound of the cone. It safeguards against rattles. I think Robin would agree on that issue? Shine On Michael That's pretty much what I did, used that scrap book gum type glue more just to make a cheap gasket, never had a problem with rattles.

That is interesting, I have upgraded a few resonators (but nowhere as many as your good self obviously). What is your opinion on gluing versus not, the biscuit, I have seen so many diverse opinions.

An RC 2 was my first resonator many years ago. Yes they have a neck stick. I heavily modded mine so have had one of these in bits many times, and suspect the neck stick may have come loose or broken .

Thanks for the welcome. Not me on the bigroadblues site. I am in Auckland in the North Island.
Good to hear you had a good time Gerry, I spent `10 days in London last year as part of a world trip. I used to surf a lot in New Plymouth in my younger days.

Hi All
Decided to sign up after many years lurking, from way down in New Zealand, have owned many resos, from my first Regal chinese made guitar, a Johnson tri, Epi Biscuit right through to the only one I now own, an Amistar Regal which I have had for 4 or so years.
Cheers
