As an older member of the forum, I struggle a little with technology. In the past I have used Photobucket to post pictures but they are starting to charge for the service and I am far too mean to spend any money! So, what is the best (free) way to post pictures WITHOUT using a camera/laptop/computer (I use a small hand held device to do photos and look at the forum, though everyone else in the family has laptop/smartphone/pc etc) PT

It's not clear to me what you are asking as you seem to have used photobucket. How did you get them on photobucket.
The way I do it is I download from my phone to a folder on my desktop then add them as an attachment in the forum, there's nothing like a third party photobucket type place involved.
What is the device you are using.

Seriously: I'm using an older iPad that does not cooperate with a lot of the Internet. Works fine for everything else ( fancy calculator ) but needs to be upgraded (buy a newer version) to work with all of the admetric data suck that keeps google etc. "free." It will not allow me to use the attach file option to post photos here. No way, no how... It posted photos just fine three years ago and I'm baffled as to what really needed fixing. Helping us geezers navigate the digital world is one good reason to have children. Unfortunately, my daughter lives in Hong Kong these days and I can't tap her amazing ability to navigate and tolerate this virtual world. Before I go full rant, if you cannot use the attach file option, I suggest getting one of your family members to help you out... I wish I could be of more help. All best, Jeff

Straightforward - save the pic to your hard drive, then add it as an attachment (if under 2mb?). TT

I have no clue what that is but if I click on it it enlarges so you can see the detail nicely...

Almost right, well done!, it is in fact a Tensioning Break Angle Guage Thing Jig. (I didn't go to university, so there is no MA ) So of my odd creations have strange geometry, so I need to know how much weigh to put on the bridge. PT

PT Tell the truth, I could see what it was doing but had no idea why. In the context of a different creation / geometry it makes perfect sense.

I made it when I built my Dual-olian, which has 2 full size cones and had to double the weigh on the bridge. PT I also have some guitars I use with very light strings and can change the bridge/tail angle to give good pressure, but not too much!
