I’ve had my new mm blues guitar for about a month now and having spent some time getting acquainted with it I wanted to add my voice to what’s already been said about these instruments, I am seriously impressed both with the guitar and also the service received from Michael. Having been a little reluctant to buy without being able to play it first I’m really glad I did. I’m not a natural slide player (although the DB slide that was included does seem to work better than the old chrome one I had lying around) and mainly play fingerpicking style. I have to say that the tonal quality far surpasses my expectations (and also surpasses the quality of anything I played in the same price range) and I’ve found that there are songs I would not expect to work well that actually seem to gain something from it and work really well (John Renbourn’s The Hermit sounds far better than I expected, the problem is now I’ll have to learn more than just the intro section) So thanks Michael for such a great guitar and thanks also to everyone on the forum as all the prior discussions answered most of the questions I thought of (& also a few I didn’t ) before committing to buying it Nick

Thanks MississippiBlue, your not wrong about the guitar. I've played it pretty much every day since I got it and I like it better each time. I nearly spent the money on a Martin (another long time ambition) in the same price range and am so glad I went with the MM guitar (the shop did say that they had a couple of Michael's guitars a few years ago but they cant get them anymore)
The problem I have now is I've decided I should have the shiny one as well and I've spent my guitar budget for this millennium (I've tried explaining that if you can count how many guitars you have then you don't have enough but its not working at the moment)

Hey Nick,
One can never have too may guitars. I'm glad your lovin' your MM Blues. You will find that as you play your guitar a few things will happen. First - you will have a constant smile. Second - you will find it harder to put the guitar down. Third - it will sound better the more you play it. Four - you will have a burning desire to own another MM Guitar. Be well and enjoy your MM Blues as much as you possibly can.
Kind Regards,
MississippiBlue
