Some time ago I bought this (prewar?) deco tailpiece with a nice patina Now it's time to copy this patina. As best as possible.. No easy job But it going well.. Em.

I got some maple in stock, but I want to give this a chance: Wengé A bit harder and heavier, but experts know that it is primarily the color that determines the sound.. Placing of the 'mushrooms'. Fixing the biscuit bridge On the resonator cone (handspun by Mike Replogle). Search for the right intonation And find a good string height. Next: making a photo shoot and.. learn to play! Em.
