Just got this old and rather interesting guitar in for a clean-out, set-up and re-string. An early 1970s ShoBro. I have seen a few other ShoBros, but this one not only has a cutaway But also is a thinner body thickness It has a bolt on neck, and a spider style coverplate that doesn't have a handrest. Just thought I'd share pics of this unusual resophonic guitar, for folk to see.

I have had the full size version of this, and have come across the thin line cutaway before. I like the sturdy Americana feel and if it has the original case they are the best cases supplied by any manufacturer in that era (all other big brand cases are flimsy by comparison). Watch out for humidity issues & finish checking as this seem to be a common failing.

The normal sho bro isn't much of a looker really, but I think the cutaway suits it. TT
