Yep, I play electric heavy metal now I was looking at magnetic pickups for resonators such as lace and national pickups, they were out of my budget at the time being but a while ago I bought an old Schiller sound hole pickup fairly cheaply and had it sitting around in my cupboard, I removed the bracket, cut the cable and soldered on a new jack and now it serves a new life as a resonator pickup

Those Schaller soundhole pickups are what I used to use back in the early 1980s. There was one on my blue Dobro, but eventually it rotted away. Not the Dobro, the pickup! Shine On Michael

Luckily this pickup is still going, not the highest output but it does the job
I was originally going to use a Lawrence soundhole pickup because it had a better output, I converted it and then found it to be too thick, now can't concert it back :/
