Does anyone use an airbrush on their wood building projects? If so which brand?
Thanks, Harriet

I have used the preval bottle and aerosol powered spray head to lacquer several guitars with good results. Stew-Mac has listed a small airbrush in their catalog for many years. May be something to consider.

If you are looking for a good airbrush, Paasche is a good brand. They've been making airbrushes for a very long time and are excellent quality. The price is about double as the Stew Mac one, but parts will be available from many art supply sources. It all just depends on your needs.

Thanks rbe. The paasche name I am familiar with but I forgot !
A model that has a small cup on top is probably better for retouching the faux binding on my parlors, which what I might to use it for.

Harriet I use a Badger like this www.badgerairbrush.com/BADGER_250.asp. Bought it from a model shop for NZ$50. Works great for touch ups on my guitars, refinished a neck on a Harmony acoustic yesterday. Has given me 6 years trouble free use. I use a can of air for propellant since I only use it occasionally.
