Hi Pat,
Thank you for your continued interest in MM guitars. The Tricone is not going to appear until around Christmas or early next year. It takes a long time for each prototype to be built and then sent to me for approval and design changes.
-----------------
Hi Myk,
Due to the fact that I am watched by other resonator guitar manufacturers and have had my models copied by them, I am just not prepared to say anything about new products until they actually exist.
Thanks
Shine On Michael.

Hi there !
My gut feeling (although there is no reason why you should listen to me) is that your Tricone should be exclusively German Silver. I can't see all the cheap copying factories going for German Silver as they want a guitar that looks like yours, but for as cheap as possible. Thus, I'd think by making yours in GS, it would be less likely to be directly copied by anyone else - and therefore yours would stand out from the crowd (of imposters !). I have seen you state before I think that you prefer brass to GS, perhaps I'm wrong. No one makes a "budget" German Silver Tricone, or single-cone, I don't think ? NRP make some guitars in GS, and some luthiers might, at special request, but who else ?
Perhaps it for YOU to bring us the holy grail of resonator guitars (ie. German Silver Tricones), from what has previously been out of reach, to us mere mortals.
Sure, it would likely cost a fair bit more than your other MM Guitar models, but hey, this could be your top-of-line model.
Kind of my own wishes, really. For you though, I'm sure that could be an investment risk - so I appreciate you have to and had to make careful decisions on all these things.
PS. I'm not really expecting you to answer these points, as fair enough, you are trying to keep things under wraps. However, I wonder who else would be interested in a German Silver Tricone, at a relatively budget price, if it is at all possible ???

Oh Dear! I thought my wallet was safe for a bit. Looks like I am going to have to start saving again:-).
Looking forward to this addition to the MM stable of thoroughbreds.
Slide on, Pat

Just in support of Snakehips and so you don't feel all alone mate, yes, I too would love to see a German silver tricone available at a reasonable price, in fact I would buy one. I suspect though it's not going to happen P.S. Snakehips, just because you've got to put an X on a piece of paper twice in the last few months, don't go thinking you're living in a democracy! P.P.S. When are you going to post a video of your National round neck tricone you bought last year? I have been looking forward to seeing it for what seems like an age! Best regards. Chris
