My intention was not to grind this thread to a halt, it was just to keep on the subject of cricket bat guitars, of which there are some weird and wild examples on Youtube.
None of the cricket bat guitars I saw on Youtube compare to Pete's lap steel, which is a proper instrument.

Interesting , using a banjo tuning, but with a full scale `G` drone. PT I started making something similar only twice as big......but they said I`d make too much of a racket
