Hi there !
Looks like a standard National Walnut Triolian body - circa 1929 - 1932. The neck definitely looks like a replacement to me - perhaps from the 1960's or 70's. This would be why there is no serial number.
The finish on the back of the neck looks later era Dobro to me, but otherwise could have been made anywhere. I don't think the fretboard dots remind me of any. Dobros though. Not sure about the "National" badge. Mark Makin will know where that comes from, I'm sure !
I'd guess it's a 1929/30 Triolian that originally came with a Bakelite neck - hence the need to have changed the neck later on.

Hi Richard - Yes I spotted this the other day. I think you're right on the money. The badge is called the National "stickpin" logo - they appear on Chicagoan lap steels around late 50s, early 60s. I also think you're right about the bakelite neck.
