Google books UK have made the acknowledgements/introduction available to read plus various chapters in truncated form. I guess the same holds for Amazon US!
[Later Edit: In fact Google U.S. are far more generous with what they give us to read.

FYI one of the lesser known, but high achieving students of Rev Gary Davis is Andy Cohen. He s featured in one of the HSNOI cable tv programs I have linked in another thread here.

I watched some of that Horses Sing None Of It program with Andy Cohen yesterday, after following your links, really enjoyed it. He's a good player. Thanks for the work you and everyone involved puts in on that show, fredcapo.

I just messaged Woody Mann (one of the producers) he says it should be available on Amazon.uk any time soon. There will be a facebook notification so I'll let you know!

On Friday Amazon UK informed me that the copy I placed on order last month will be delivered by Royal Mail tomorrow (20th). What's that line from a 1940s blues song "good things come to those who wait".
