I was trying to think of 'pop' songs that feature a resonator the other day but could only come up with:
'Lola' - The Kinks and. 'Romeo and Juliet' - Dire Straits
At first i also thought 'Hole Hearted' by Extreme was on a resonator but i'm pretty sure its a 12 string acoustic!
Anyone?

Weather with you, by Crowded House - the main riff is on a reso.

"Young At Heart" sung by The Bluebells ~ the video featured a Style 'O', but i'm not 100% sure there's one used on the recorded track :/
Slide On!
Ian.

Would there be some Rolling Stones selections with Ron Wood or Keith Richards?

Would there be some Rolling Stones selections with Ron Wood or Keith Richards? There may well be, there certainly is some by The Faces, with Ron Wood and Ronnie Laine And some Ronnie Laine, without The Faces

I'd hesitate to call the bulk of his work "pop"...but that first (in my opinion, overproduced) 1991 release on Sony definitely was trying to be pop, and there was Triolian all over the record:
Oh, just for good measure, two solo performances from the same era:

I don't dig them in any specific way, but The Corrs had a pop tune about 20 years ago - 'i never really loved yous anyways', and a guitarist of theirs plays a metal dobro on a live vid of it. TT

"The City Never Sleeps" by the Eurythmics features a Style 2 Roundneck Triplate. It is also featured on the video of the song...and I own the guitar now!!

Also most of the "Paul McCartney Unplugged (the official Bootleg)" features Robbie McIntosh playing a 1935 14 fret Style 0 with chicken feet coverplate.... I also used to own that one as well!

Hi Ian - This version of "Young At Heart" by the Bluebells seems to have the 12 fret Style 0 AND an OMI 33D!!

Do you count stuff like Eric Claptons - 461 Ocean Boulevard tracks like "Give Me Strength" and Duane Allmans "Little Martha"?
