Not to be missed - I have most of his DVD lessons and they are the best...very detailed.
As a matter of interest, and possibly a small warning for GASheads, I heard his Martin on a DVD so much as I was learning songs, that I messaged him and asked him which particular model he played, and bought one over the Internet.....love it but would never have done such a thing once!

John is a great player and his teaching abilities are excellent too. I was thinking as I wrote that - I have known John for 15 years! Time flies by....

I was tempted but a bit far for a 4-hour session and on a Sunday too. John is a good teacher though.

I'd love to go and saw it on his website. It'd be awesome to meet him. He knew/was taught ?, hung around with Sam Chatmon for a while. Must've been very thought provoking making his Bo Carter(Sam's Brother) DVD. Which I have to say is very good.
Unfortunately my mid-life will not allow me to go.

John is such a great teacher. It sounds like a really interesting workshop and a chance to learn some fun songs. You'd be a fool to miss out on this opportunity if you are in the area!

Yes Snakehips, a curry hour is incorporated into the proceedings, and afterwards, if weather permits, a pint and a tune in the Pear Tree beer garden!

It's always a pleasure learning with John Miller. I'd love to be there but can't make it. Have a great day everyone.
