The Steve Evans story about a bakelite neck, was a guitar I left with Steve which eventually had a new new neck fitted.

Here is how this Beuscher sounds. To get a clue, I've made a comparison with my 1930 Style 0 which is pretty similar. Remember there's a National Hotrod cone in the Beuscher! Plastic fingerpicks, german silver slide by daddyslide.de , Zoom H1, just noodling, first take, just for comparative purpose. The Style 0 has more bass because it's body's much bigger. The Beuscher has more overtones due to the long scale (25.8 inch). Beuscher-Style 0.mp3 (859.08 KB)

I think they sound very similar. Nothing to do wih the playing, which is super, but neither sounds that good IMO! TT

This depends on the recording situation - was done in about 5 minutes In person they both sound killer - IMO of course.

well, good sound, good playing. mine is all original, neck, cone, everything. your, style O is a new one or a vitage one? thinks it's new but not sure. gonna try to make something to compare with your. at home i can only copare with my NRP tricone style 1, which is not the same instrument and must not be compared.

Well if it's a 1930 Style 0 as I wrote it's a vintage one...these two can be compared since they are pretty similar constructed. A tricone is something altogether different, you're right.

All is well, this week I returned the Beuscher to it's owner whom I've repaired it for, and he is thrilled! Another great guitar alive and kicking AND played in front of people (NO wallhanger) - love it!!
