The book seems to be sold out or unavailable in the US. Any idea how to get a copy on this side of the pond?

Shouldn't be bad Kiwi. Mine arrived in the USA 2 days after I paid! Awesome book! Well called gaucho, came home from work an hour ago and there it was. 5 days UK to NZ, a record for me. And what an amazing book, the artwork and sheer breadth of subject covered. I have some reading to do in the next few weeks. Well done Mark. And rshatz, email Mark (his email is up thread) and he will sort it for you.

Hello rshatz You can get a copy directly from me. Just email contact details to me at 'mark.makin(at)ntlworld.com'. At the moment you have to paypal me directly. The book costs £65 plus £27.50 postage and packing to the US (next day). Best wishes Mark

Yep! My good buddy Aël made a wonderful and awesome advertising there on U-tube. Reminds me Antoine Decaunes ( BBC2 television series "Rapido" days). Thanks Aêl!

Can someone put the video on the Weenie Campbell Forum? ( I started a thread on `Gitfiddles, harps washboards ` under `New Book on National/Dobro etc`.) (my computer support is on late shift all this week) Pete T

Ael - thank you for your brilliant "homage" to Mark Makin and the "very bible"! I still have to wait another couple of weeks to see my copy (its been in the house for a couple of weeks but is waiting for my birthday on April fools day). Cheers, Mike

Pascal,
I was more thinking rapido but with Alexi Sayle (English joke)
Whoever it is though a good compliment and I am sure Mark will appreciate the coverage.
When the American market kicks in I am not sure if the initial run of books will be enough though!!! Lee

I'm plugging it on that other USA site where resonator players like to hang around, but maybe some of them are a bit sniffy 'cos the book is BRITISH!!! TT

Hi Pete, I occasionally visit Weenie Campbell, but I don't think I am a member anymore. It would be great to post Aël's film on there.... Shine On Michael

My birthday has arrived at last and I have been able to open the book - and it really is fantastic. A great piece of work, and signed too! This keep me occupied for a long, long time. Very many thanks to Mark Makin for the time, effort and dedication that has gone into it.
