Hello Michael,
Sorry I haven't been back to you sooner on this but I trapped my finger in a car door back in May and have not been able to play guitar for some time. Fortunately, it's OK now and I have been experimenting with the Slide Rig.
As I mentioned in my earlier post, I am a huge Lowell George fan and have been looking for "that" sound for years. At last I have found it. The Slide Rig does everything it promises on the box and much. much more. I am absolutely delighted with the result and am the envy of my guitarist friends here in Seville. Now where did I leave that tab of Rock'n Roll Doctor?
All the best,
Joe (aka Mairena Red)

Hi Joe,
I am sorry to hear about your accident.
I am pleased that you are happy with the SlideRig. It is always worrying when people buy something on my recommendation, just in case they're not as impressed with the product as me!
It really is an excellent piece of kit and as you say, it gives the Lowell George Dixie Chicken sound and a lot more. A great addition to the gig kit.
Let's make sure we meet next time you are in the UK.
Best wishes,
Shine On Michael.

i have been google searching from time to time trying to find a local brick-n-mortar store here in the US where i could demo one of these. below is all i could find. from NE TEX, too far to drive. if interested, perhaps they might be closer from your location.... Detroit, LA, Nashville: vintageking.com/guitar/pedals/origin-effects-sliderig-dual-chained-limiting-amp-pedalTuscon, AZ: www.rainbowguitars.com/guitar/origin-effects/slide-rig-limiting-amplifier-pedal/sliderig/oejust way more than pedals usually run, would have to try one before spending that much. not trying to knock the price for what is basically two pedals in one box, it would just have to be GREAT to lure a pedal minimalist into the market. perhaps an over-correction due to being a reformed rack gearaholic. "hello fellow gearaholics, my name is mitchfit. i have been almost entirely analog for about ten years now"... will keep digging until one shows up within a reasonable distance from Jed Clampett country. kinda like the movie, "brother where art thou" where i live is "a geographical oddity, two weeks from everywhere!" great soundtrack for that movie, if you haven't seen it. one of my favorite cuts @ link below: mitchfit
