I hope it wont! The body has been sitting on the piano stool for about three months waiting for the wiring to be completed. The neck only has two coats of clear nitro so far. The body came from Axesrus in a similar type of yellow / gold speckle that some of the originals come finished in. The body is really light weight- felt nearly like balsa when drilling but was sold as ash. It could end up being a little unbalanced. It's on the agenda for a job over christmas but I'm not going to be putting on any more lacquer in this weather. The Warmoth necks are Fender licensed like Allparts so you get an accurate headstock. The machining and finish is excellent. I have bought a Strat rear trem cover from them and they were great over the despatch price for a small item. Fantastic, happy people to deal with (no connection etc. Other guitar parts manufacturers are available etc) ;<D

Watching Roy Buchanan on the post on 'Pick-ups for slide' really shows what a Telecaster can do. Real nice stuff. There are so many more out there who make that Tele sing, cry, sigh, rock, speak etc in so many ways. Any more examples would be great. Regards Gouranga
