She's a real beauty, very easy on the eye! 4 years of planning has certainly paid off ,looking forward to hearing the sound file. Got one on my shopping list but I think it'll be a while sadly. I'll aim at maybe the second shipment.Mind you it's starting to sound like the first shipment is going to be a sell out in no time.

Thank you Quarterquay. I will do my best to get a sound sample together in the next few days.
It has taken a very long time and I have had so many samples/test guitars of this model over the past four years, that I have been taken by surprise by everyone's response. I wasn't quite ready for so many enquiries and orders!

Thanks Al, Waffle, Gordon, Gouanga and Kiwi, much appreciated! Kiwi, we now have a system set up where we can ship directly from China to you. This saves an enormous amount of money on the shipping. You can contact Robin at Busker HQ and he will organise it for you. I wouldn't worry about placing your order until we know a manufacturing completion date. It is better to place your order direct from the manufacturer when we know they are in stock, rather than in advance. Al, this will be a great addition to your MM / Busker collection.....it is a very cool guitar! Thanks for the order. Best wishes, Shine On Michael Thanks so much Michael, I'll keep my eye out for when they are available and drop Robin an email, they look fantastic. Really nice of you guys to make it affordable for us down under.

Very, very nice! I'm sure it will be successful! I also like the colour. Michael, did you start from the beginning with the idea of stayin' close to old National? In particular I would like to know whether you tried a deeper body version, and if so how it sounded. Frank

Hi Frank,
Thank you for your kind and positive comments.
I did not try a deeper body on this new model, but over the years on other wood bodied National-style resonator guitars, this has been tried, tested and the results are that it does nothing to help the sound. It loses its punch and the tone is no good.
This is based on what I believe to be National's finest wood-bodied guitars that were made in the 1920s.

Man with the Queenslander style houses and big verandas you NEED a guitar to be sitting out there with a XXXX.

Hi Lee, You know me better than that. Do you really think I would spend four years designing a guitar based on early Triolians that doesn't have a neck stick ......of course it does! Neck stick, converging railroad struts and square-based mushroom posts. Painted specials - I have a few already. Some of the sample/test guitars were finished in Triolian colours... Shine On Michael
