1 - What format do you buy - Almost exclusively vinyl unless it isn't available in that format or the CD Boxset has extensively more tracks then the vinyl. I also get recommendations and buy vinyl from Lonejelly's ( see Andrew's post) more none brother Lonelyjelly.
Still have large CD collection and a decent vintage Marantz CD player.
2 - Do you buy music regularly, or occasionally?
Tend to buy fairly regularly ..new and used.
3 - How & where do you listen to music -
Got a Decent Michell record deck last year so vinyl is always a pleasure.
sometimes whilst working ( at home) i will find an Album or gig on Youtube to listen to on the laptop.
In the car i stream from my i-phone to the car stereo.
4 - Do you listen to music on terrestrial radio (BBC, CBC, ABC etc), online radio, podcasts, or streaming playlists?
sometimes in the car i also stream a blues radio station.

Formats: these days I buy (mostly ) second hand CDs
Usually from second hand vinyl/CD shops or stalls
How do I listen? The CDs are played in the car. They also go on my Brendon ( a music storage computer with room for many 1000s of CDs) which goes through some reasonable quality speakers . I still have a small vinyl collection and turntable, but it is hardly ever used. Then there is the Blues Show on Radio 2 and odd things that are pointed out on this forum and stuff that pops up on YouTube Pete
The other day I wanted to listen to a Freddy King track, I have it on vinyl,CD and stored on the Brendon.......... I listened to it on my iPad and didn’t even bother to put it through the ‘good’ amp and speakers. As ‘fast food’ gets people to stop cooking does ‘fast music’ stop our search for the best sound you can get??
It sometimes does for me. Pete

First off, I highly recommend forum members check out Bandcamp. You can get different digital formats for it, stream albums to check out before purchase, and Bandcamp is still doing "Bandcamp Fridays," where sales on the first Friday of the month go directly to the artist.
Now, to answer the original question:
I prefer buying CD's, and Downloads that are CD quality format and above. I find myself atypical from my friends group however, who almost exclusively stream.
I find music that is new to me through recommendation, watching YouTube live performances (KEXP, and Paste Studios has a variety of artists to name two channels), or checking out recommendations on Bandcamp.
From what I have been reading streaming and vinyl is looking to be number one for most consumers, but vinyl manufacturing wait times are making it harder for independent artists to obtain these items to sell. I understand smaller artists are being forced to move away from it. From bands I have personally known over the years (outside of roots and blues genres) I have seen them placing importance on T-shirt sales, while also carrying vinyl and CD's, which has been that way since the start of Napster, all the way to streaming today.
