So I've done heaps of research and played quite a few resonators and I've decided that a Beltona tricone is the direction I want to go in. Problem is there aren't so many of them.
I'm interested to hear from anyone that might be thinking of parting with their Beltona, I'm happy to wait around but let me know what you got.
Thanks All, Calvoi

The one that is currently on the market is on reverb with guitar emporium in Melbourne Australia, it has the Calton case so the price probably reflects that. A few forum members I think have them, they are not given up easily, you might have to scour the obituaries. Here is a teaser of mine.....

Thanks Lee. You have two Beltonas, lucky you! They do seem to be rare, I'd prefer not to wrestle them off the dead. p.s. great guitar wall!

I know Steve Evans of Beltona has a Beltona, single-cone 12-fret nickel-plated brass guitar to sell (from his personal stash). He may still have a Tricone to sell too. Check www.beltona.net with a personal email to him

There was a guy in France selling a Beltona Style 4 Tricone a couple of years back here, if you look back on this forum.
Dave Speight's Beltona will be a cracker though !

So it’s been a year and a half wait but I finally got my hands on a Beltona tricone. Very happy indeed.

Welcome to the club, what is the serial number on yours and the history prior to your custodianship. Lee

It is serial number T027 - it was originally made for a guy called Jerry Jackson in Jersey has had two custodians since then one of whom used it as wall art and now it is with me. It is my age which also happens to be 27! It is plain brass, mahogany neck with fancy style 3 inlays in the fretboard. 1 3/4” nut width and a subtle V shaped neck. Still has the original Beltona cones which appear to be in good shape.

Fantastic, now it is time to play and enjoy, mine also has the original cones with the Beltona logo pressed in, 20 years before NRP did the hotrods
