Thanks Jono.
Is it just me, or should they all stop playing it and adding wear & tear that has nothing to do with Peter Green. Surely, if this is such an iconic and valuable collectors piece, it should only be played occasionally and in the right situations. Maybe just one song or so at a concert by a special guitarist, Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall, type of thing. These iconic instruments should be preserved for future generations. They should be treated in same way as a Stradivarius violin.
Future generations won't thank us for ruining all this stuff.
Shine On Michael.

I remember this LP when Peter Green owned and played it in the 1960s. Saw him and it many times live - I was even allowed to play a few chords on it, just the once. PG treated it like a baby, cleaning it thoroughly before putting it safely in it's case when not in use - it was in superb condtion. Then that bl88dy Irishman got hold of it.....

I agree ..i is now owned and played regularly by Kirk Hammett from Metallica.. The story is long and complicated regarding the sale of guitar by Gary Moore - he wanted the sale low key and it ended up in Gary Moore's words "Paraded around like a bearded lady"
