I'm looking to sell my 1930 Style 0. It's not the prettiest old National but sounds great and is one of the loudest guitars I have ever heard. It's an early brass-body with a steel coverplate. It has a few non-original parts including a new NRP hot rod cone and tailpiece, mismatched period tuners on the bass side and the neck binding has been replaced on one side. Someone refinished the neck at some point removing the original stain (leaving the shield decal) and covering it with clear varnish. It also has a dent and seam separation on the back. I had it set up by Dave King a few years ago and it plays extremely well with a good set-up for slide and fingerstyle. It sounds great - just like a brass-bodied single con should - and is very loud. Asking £2000 but open to offers. No case but I might be able to supply one for a bit extra. Happy to answer questions and supply more photos.
