Hello Everyone, I'm trying to purchase an old cassette from a seller in the UK who will not ship to Canada or any place else, but the UK. I have been looking for this tape for ages. Is there any one in the UK who would buy it & ship it to me here in Canada? I'll happily pay a surcharge for a deed well done. I have paypal. Thanks, Darreld

Hi there !
I have no understanding of WHY someone wouldn’t want to send something abroad, other than for ignorant fears.
PM me and I’ll do it, charging you no extra than the postage itself !
Reminds me of the story a UK guy wanted to buy a guitar on ebay, from a seller in the US. The seller had “shipping within the US”. Like I often do, he sent the seller a message requesting he be allowed to bid. It has worked for me LOADS of times before. I remind the seller “the more bidders, the higher the final sale price !”.
Anyway, the potential UK buyer got a message back from this American guy that said “no, I won’t outwith the US. I don’t want my guitar getting in the hands of terrorists !
What did the guy think he was gonna do with the guitar ? It’s not like it was a banjo !!!!!

Thank you snakehips, I have another member who has offered to help out and I have taken up his offer.
I've made several attempts to purchase various guitars from the States this past year, and have been turned down a few times. Many US sellers do not wish to go thru the hassle of filling out the CITES(?) forms to ship out of their country. It's risky for the buyer/seller, as the instrument can be confiscated without the proper documentation. Frustrating for all! Even the terrorists...

I love my banjo. It would be my desert island instrument. It would make a paddle too at a pinch!
